On the second day of the meeting, additional project members joined and actively participated in the discussions. The session began with a summary of the first day’s activities, which was presented and thoroughly discussed.
OrangeEDU
Following this, the conversation shifted to OrangeEDU. An online version of the Orange Data Mining tool is being developed and adapted for educational use as part of the project. The discussion focused on several key aspects, including teachers’ current needs, pedagogical considerations, and pupils’ abilities. Participants shared ideas on how the OrangeEDU interface could be simplified and tailored to meet both teachers’ requirements and the different age groups of students.
Methodology framework for teacher training and support
The next major topic was the ongoing development of the Methodological Framework for teacher training and support, as well as the awareness-raising program for school leaders. This discussion was facilitated by OIDE, a project partner from Ireland. The teacher training exploration phase began in Laško, Slovenia, and has since been adapted for implementation across the participating countries. The group discussed the next steps, including the methodology for small-scale and large-scale experimentation, the timeline, and other important elements such as the content of the training program and the pedagogical approaches based on the teachers’ identified needs.
Conclusion
The meeting concluded with a discussion on quality assurance and the definition of the next steps fin the project, ensuring that all activities align with the project’s goals and timelines.
