Representatives from the University of Ljubljana and H2 Learning convened in Lipica, Slovenia, for a DALI4US evaluation workshop. This marked an important milestone in the DALI4US evaluation process.
The workshop provided an opportunity to review progress to date and to document key learnings from the pre-pilot experimentation phase. It also revisited the teacher workshops conducted during 2025 to capture how teacher input informed the iterative development and refinement of the data literacy framework and its associated teaching and learning resources. Feedback from the teacher workshops highlighted the importance of ensuring the framework reflects classroom realities and supports exploratory data analysis. This design-based research approach is a core element of the project.
The discussions also focused on refining the DALI4US data literacy approach, with emphasis on the progression from unplugged activities to the careful introduction of digital tools. Key outcomes and lessons from the workshop will be synthesised and included in the final DALI4US evaluation report later this year.
