We unofficially launched a prototype version of Orange on the web, specifically adapted for primary and secondary school use!

Orange Data Mining is a free, open-source visual data analytics and machine learning toolkit developed by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science.

One of its main advantages is its intuitive, user-friendly interface that doesn’t require programming knowledge, making advanced data science available to everyone.

Up until now, Orange was only available as a downloadable programme, but that’s about to change! As a web app, it will be easily accessible by anyone in any setting, for instance, by students in a classroom environment. In this new version of Orange, its specific components can also be integrated into different websites, and the settings can be adapted depending on the user’s skill levels and desired complexity.

We can’t wait to test it in the classroom!
